Projects

Transition Bay St. Margaret’s is undertaking various projects to demonstrate resilience, and to initiate the broader adoption of these projects intended results into the community.   To date, an Educational Vegetable Garden has been established, as well as the Tantallon Village Farmer’s Market.

From the main TransitionNetwork.org web site:

“Each of these [Transition Initiative] groups then starts up practical projects such as community supported agriculture, shared transport, local currencies, seed swaps, tool libraries, energy saving clubs, urban orchards, re-skilling classes, draught-busting teams. As they do this work, they draw other people in.”
