SUMMARY:Final Harvest - Crossroads Vegetable Garden
DESCRIPTION:We will be having the last 2017 harvest of the Crossroads Educational Vegetable Garden on Saturday\, November 11 from 2:00-4:00pm.  We will harvesting one last round of kale and chard\, as well as digging up the parsnips.  We know we will add significant poundage to our record-breaking season running total of 603 pounds! All are welcome to join in the fun.

DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning more about how to create simple\, beautiful\, hand made gifts for the holidays? Would you like ideas on how to use recycled materials and every day items to create useful presents and memorable keepsakes?\nJoin us for a presentation and “show and tell” featuring an assortment of hand made gift ideas. After we look at some of the many creative ways to create frugal and environmentally friendly gifts\, we will have a hands on workshop where people can choose to make one of a variety of small items to take home. \nAll materials will be provided\, and this program is free to all participants. We ask that you RSVP via facebook or email (info@transitionbay.ca) so that we have an idea of how much material to have on hand to meet the needs of the group. \nWe hope you will join us in creating a hand made holiday season! \nWe would like to extend our thanks to the Bay Treasure Chest Honorarium program which has provided funding for this event.
