Cider Making and Fermented Beverages

Learn about pressing apples for cider using a smaller cider press, and which varieties of apples are best for different flavours and tartness.  You can also learn how to ferment fresh cider into ‘hard cider,’ as well as other types of fermented fruit beverages  This is a fun workshop packed with useful information.

The workshop will take place at the Tantallon Library from 2:30 to 4:30, Sunday, October 19th.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated. We welcome new volunteers to help with events like this one. Please contact us at info@transitionbay.ca for more information.
