Why Home Sharing Really Matters: An Open House
Thursday, November 9, 2:00 – 4:00 pm | Paul O’Regan Hall, Floor 1, Central Library
Join us at Halifax Central Library on Thursday, November 9th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm for an open house and discussion on home sharing: the benefits and hurdles, building personal comfort, bringing those with excess housing together with those in need of housing, and determining what ongoing supports are needed.We will present findings from the November 4 Housing Outside the Box symposium and share videos featuring highlights from the event and interviews with community members.
Volunteers will be on-hand to answer questions and hear ideas about shared housing.
